We can work with groups of 10 or more people looking to take on a wellness retreat and we’ll work with the coordinator to make a bespoke itinerary that suits the needs of your group. We can operate in the South Island (Queenstown, Wanaka, Christchurch, Arthurs Pass, Nelson Marlborough) and the North Island (Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo and Bay of Islands) - as well as many of our international locations in South America, Europe and the Himalayas. New Zealand Sample Itinerary

On this 10-day sample New Zealand wellness retreat, you'll take a mindful journey through the dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes of Queenstown and Fiordland. You'll enjoy gentle hiking, yoga, kayaking and exploring stunning scenery that will leave you humbled by the power of mother earth. To finished the journey, you'll take the challenge of summiting Ben Lomond and leave feeling refreshed and empowered.

Ecuador Sample Itinerary

Stretch your body and soul on this 7-day health retreat in Ecuador. You'll be amazed at how recharged and reenergised you'll feel after spending a week lost in the powerful and lush forests of the Amazon. Via hiking, yoga, biking and horseback riding - not only will you gain an incredible appreciate for this region of the world, you'll also find it easy to connect with nature and yourself.

Himalayas Sample Itinerary

Nepal is the perfect place to connect with your body and detox your mind with the fresh mountain air. Nepelese are pros at living in the moment and enjoying a simple life - making it easy to step way from the day-to-day stresses and focus on yourself through meditation, yoga, hiking and clean eating. You'll enjoy learning about the culture and how to use their techniques back home.

How does it work?

All you'll need to do is organise a group of 10 or more people, and we'll take care of all the logistics and planning. When you get in touch, simply let us know as much information as possible and we'll start creating a retreat that is bespoke to your needs!

  • Tell us if you want a quick weekend, a full week or more.
  • Let us know what elements are important to you and your group - yoga, fitness, meditation and anything else that's top propriety.
  • Choose where you'd like your escape to be. We can run retreats in most regions of New Zealand and you'll have the option to base yourself out of one accommodation or travel between multiple accommodations.
  • Tell us more about your group. Are you looking for a women's wellness retreat? A couple's detox retreat? Or to join a pre-existing group to work on your health and fitness?

Once we have the information needed, you'll work with a travel expert to create a trip that suits your group's goals. While on your retreat, we'll make sure everything is taken care of (if you'd like it to be!), from all accommodations and meals, to experienced adventure guides to making sure your team is taken care of while in the wilderness, so you can focus on your health and wellbeing.

We realise plans can change at any time and even the best insurance policies don’t cover every single possibility. Plus, with travel restrictions still floating around, it can be nerve-wracking for you to lock in future travel dates.

We want you to feel confident that your money is in good hands so we've introduced Active Adventures Assurance, which includes:

  • Deposits good for life
  • Transferable deposits between trips
  • Transferable travellers
  • Refund outside of 30-days
  • For Kiwis: if you can't travel due to Covid-19 level restrictions and your trip is less than 30 days away, we will re-book you onto an alternative departure date or will offer you a future trip credit valid on any Active Adventures departure in New Zealand or overseas until 31 December 2022.
